Eastern Illinois University's Louis V. Hencken chapter was established in 1965 as a service organization for NACURH. EIU’s chapter was established in 1974, with the first induction held on November 22, 1974. The chapter inducted 23 members that year. The EIU Chapter's constitution can be viewed here.
