Grounding & Centering: A Mindfulness Deck for the Classrom [PPT] - This downloadable slide deck offers eighteen short mindfulness practices that faculty can use to help students arrive, settle, and focus before class begins. Each activity takes approximately sixty seconds, requires no preparation or special equipment, and can be displayed on screen for students to follow or for an instructor or student to lead. The practices are organized into three categories: breathwork, gentle movement, and brief meditation. Instructors are welcome to choose whichever activity fits the situation or moment.
