AAS Graduate Assistantships

Academic Advising Services is pleased to offer graduate assistantships to competitive applicants. Graduate assistantship positions in our area are posted in January of each year, with interviews taking place in February.  

Open Positions

Please consider applying for our graduate assistantship for Academic Year 2026-2027 in Handshake (EIU login required). We only will consider applications in Handshake and will not accept candidate materials sent via email or delivered in person.

Because of the number of inquiries our office receives, we can only consider applications and resumes submitted when we have an open position.  Any materials received when no position is available, will not be saved.

Graduate students interested in a GA position with Academic Advising Services should submit your resume for Open Positions (listed above) after acceptance to their program.
