Submit this form when applying for travel support from the EIU's Newberry Library Renaissance Center consortium funds. It is due by 5 pm, Apr 20 for travel during Spring of the same year and by 5 pm, Nov 20 for travel during Fall of same year.
If you are selected by the EIU campus committte, you will be asked to complete a Newberry Library travel fund application form for reimbursement.
This should represent a total of 1) either the most economical air, train, or bus ticket or driven miles according the currently allowed rate, 2) the cost of hotel and/or 3) conference registration. fees.
Allowable amounts: 100.00 for faculty or graduate student trips to Newberry; 200.00 for faculty or graduate student overnight trips to the Newberry; 300.00 for faculty trips to the Folger. Note: first priority for funds will go to faculty.
Total grants to any one faculty member cannot exceed $ for Newberry Library research/seminars/events and $ for Folger Library research/seminars/events.
150.00 for faculty or graduate student trips to Newberry; 250.00 for faculty or graduate student overnight trips to the Newberry; 450.00 for faculty trips to the Folger. Note: first priority for funds will go to faculty.
When accompanying students, please indicate the number and note that there is a maximum of up to 8 students at 100.00 each, with additional students negotiable regarding funding.
Once travel is completed, original travel receipts are required for reimbursement.
