The M.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics at Eastern Illinois University (MSND) has two distinct options: the Nutrition Education Option and the Dietetic Internship Option.
The MSND: Nutrition Education Option is designed for international students, those who already have the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credential, those individuals who don't wish to become a RDN, or those who weren't matched with a Dietetic Internship, but wish to gain more experience. This option does not include the DI and is designed to provide a graduate degree for RDNs without a master's degree or those who wish to not earn the RDN credential.
The MSND: Dietetic Internship Option includes the ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship that will enable students to take the Registration Examination for Dietitian Nutritionists. Eastern's DI has a Nutrition Education Emphasis.
