Tarble staff invites faculty to join them in an evening of creativity and conviviality.
Art exhibitions can be the impetus for and product of cross-disciplinary research, helping us to advance knowledge and interpret the world we live in. The processes and outcomes of artistic practices can be tools for many areas of research and offer alternative ways to approach inquiry and solve problems.
Using the current exhibition Who Speaks for the Oceans? as a model that demonstrates how different fields of study can address the pressing issues of our time, Director and Curator Jennifer Seas will share more about how faculty can utilize various resources available at the Tarble.
Join Chigozirim Utah Sodeke, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies; Anne Thibault, Associate Professor of Theatre; and Michael D. Gillespie, Director of Faculty Development and Innovation Center, who will lead a lively brainstorming session to explore possibilities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
