Housing AND Dining Reunion

Former students and staff are always welcome to come back to campus for a visit. Every 5 years we host a reunion where several hundred former staff members come back to EIU. There are some activities that bring everyone together but the real fun is all the “mini reunions”. This is the perfect opportunity to get your group together.

Save the date and join University Housing & Dining Services, University Advancement, and the EIU Alumni Association for the third Housing Reunion this June 4-7, 2026. We hope you will join us and encourage your friends to do the same we were reconnect to celebrate our shared EIU experiences.

Schedule

Thursday June 4^th  

• 4 - 10 p.m.: Reunion Check-in McKinney Hall

Friday June 5^th

• 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.: Reunion Check-in McKinney Hall
• 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Alumni and Staff Golf Outing
• 4 p.m.: Four O’clock Club Marty’s
• 6 - 9 p.m.: Reunion Kickoff Celebration Library Quad

Saturday June 6^th

• 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Reunion Check-in McKinney Hall
• ALL DAY: Design your own activities with your group
  • Warren James Winery, Lake Charleston, Fox Ridge, etc.
• 9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.: Campus Tours leaving from the Housing Office in MLK Union
• Noon – Lunch on your own in the community
• 1 - 4 p.m.: Residence Hall Open Houses-prowl around your old haunts (including Carman)
• 5 - 7 p.m.: Celebration Banquet Grand Ballroom, MLK Jr. Union
• 7:30 p.m.: Trivia Competition, Marty’s

Sunday June 7^th

• 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.: Check-out at McKinney Hall

Housing and Dining Legacy Courtyard:

Leave your mark on campus. Alums who had memorable experiences on campus are taking the opportunity to buy a brick or paver as a permanent way to recognize those special times in the Memorial Courtyard located between Lawson and Andrews Hall.
