9:30 am - Tour of Doudna Fine Arts Center - The Doudna Fine Arts Center is celebrating the 15th anniversary since its dramatic re-opening as the home of fine and performing arts at EIU. Come see what all has changed since your days at EIU in this fantastic facility! The tour will start in the Doudna Concourse.
10:45 am - Campus Tour - From Old Main to the South Quad, the idyllic tree-lined quads of EIU's campus continually remind us of the special beauty of this University. Peak Fall colors promise to offer a grand show! Tours will start from the Doudna Concourse.
2:00 pm - EIU Football vs. Bryant University at O'Brien Stadium (Tickets are $15) - The Panthers take on Bryant University as part of "Hall of Fame" weekend with the Athletic Department inducting its newest class of former athletes into the Hall of Fame. The Panther Marching Band will offer an entertaining show at halftime and Prof Lane will get a well-deserved mention at the ballgame!
6:00 pm - "Groove Party" at the home of Mike and Glenna Murphy '82 - Join us for a fun and informal celebration of Johnny Lane at the home of Mike and Glenna Murphy in Tuscola, IL. Cocktails at 6 pm (cash bar with free soft drinks) and dinner at 6:30 pm. Dessert and live music set to follow. Former students: bring your sticks and a drum pad because Prof Lane WILL put you through your paces on the rudiments! Food and soft drinks are generously provided by the Murphy's - only bring money if you want something from the bar.

12:00 pm - Q&A with Professor Lane at Doudna PAC - A chance to connect with Prof Lane and catch up. Join us in the Doudna Fine Arts Center "Green Room" for this event. Prof Lane would love nothing more than to visit with any and all who have made the trip to Charleston for the weekend.
2:00 pm - Panther Marching Band Annual Fall Concert (Tickets are $10) - A rousing review of show music from the marching season, EIU standards, and special performances highlighting the talents of EIU's most spirited student group - the Panther Marching Band! The concert will also feature a special tribute to Professor Johnny Lee Lane and the awarding of the inaugural recipient of the Johnny Lane Percussion Scholarship.
4:00 pm - Post-Concert Reception with Professor Lane in the Black Box Theatre - After the concert, join us for a celebration of the newly endowed "Professor Johnny Lane Percussion Scholarship" and to express our gratitude to all of the donors who made this scholarship possible.
