VIEWPOINTS: Panthers, Pixie Dust & the Power of Experience
Tuesday, November 10
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. | Virtual (Zoom Webinar)
Join us for our November Viewpoints, featuring Stephanie Moritz, M.A., Eastern Illinois
University alumna and SVP, Membership, Marketing, and Communications for The Society
of Thoracic Surgeons. Through an inspiring conversation, Stephanie will share lessons
from her journey, from finding her voice as an EIU student to leading brand and culture
transformation at The Walt Disney Company and nearly three decades of executive leadership.
Stephanie will go behind the scenes of what Disney taught her about creating magnetic,
unforgettable experiences, and how those lessons apply to leadership, teamwork, and
everyday interactions. She'll share practical ideas for seeing through the eyes of
the people you serve, building a one-team culture where everyone owns the experience,
and leaning into our humanity as a differentiator in an increasingly AI-driven world.
As part of the Viewpoints series, this virtual program is designed to immerse the
EIU alumni network in storytelling, current issues, emerging research, and shared
campus history. Viewpoints showcases the incredible intellectual capital of the EIU
community while creating space for reflection, dialogue, and meaningful reconnection
with campus life.
Join us for an engaging conversation, inspiration, and connection as we celebrate
another Panther making a meaningful impact in her profession and community.
Advanced Registration is required. Eastern Illinois University is committed to providing
accessible experience for all guests. If you require an accommodation to fully participate
in this event, please contact Alumni Relations at alumeiu@eiu.edu.
