Mike Bradd has been a member of the EIU Communication faculty since 1990 and is the department's Interim Chair for 2012-2013.  He teaches in the area of Mass Communication, including radio and video production and broadcast news.  He has also been the radio play-by-play announcer for Eastern Illinois men's basketball since 1988 and EIU football since 2000.  He is a past winner of the Illinois Broadcasters Association's Silver Dome Award for Best Play-by-Play Sports Broadcast.  In 2011, he's being inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his work as a radio sports announcer.
