Activism Series

There is a lot happening in our country and across the globe right now. And a lot of those events/issues are asking for your attention and effort. Are you struggling to figure out what causes matter to you and how to get involved? Then this Activism Series is perfect for you!

We will be learning about current events and issues, having important conversations, learning about and from Activists who have come before us and exploring how to can work to support causes you care about, using your voice to speak out, and how to make the world a better place.

March 2021 Events

Living Room Conversation! Living Room Conversations offers a simple, structured way to practice communicating while building and understanding relationships. No preparation is required. This month the topic of conversation is: Women in Society. The intention of this dialogue is to discuss the experiences of women in American society, barriers and stereotypes we live with, and ways we can support each other moving forward. Register to join us on Thursday, March 25th, at 7pm here!

Womxn Up Conference: We are thrilled to host our second Womxn UP conference again this year! This is a great way to learn and engage with other womxn on campus to talk about issues we face walking through the world as womxn. Register for our Womxn UP Conference and enjoy it from the comfort and safety of your own living space. Sessions topics will include: Womxn of Color, Intersectionality, Womxn’s Health and more! This event is free and a free t-shirt is included while supplies last! Join us on Friday, March 26th from 1-4:15pm here

Activism Chat: We are so excited for this event which will be formatted after a Ted Talk. We will have 3 speakers talking about related topics, but they each only get 10 minutes to present. So this is a quick event that will pack your brain with information. This month our three speakers will be covering the following topics: history of women's rights, the oppression of BOPIC women, and women in the LGBTQIA+ community. This event will be on Tuesday, March 30th at 2pm. Register here to join us!
