Art Mix

Infographic for Art Mix program

In partnership with EIU Department of Art + Design, the Tarble hosts Art Mix, an after-school program for junior high and high school artists led by Dr. Brad Olson and students earning degrees in Art Education. Registered participants explore the museum’s exhibitions and collections, meet other artists, and take part in exciting art-making activities in the Tarble’s Education Lab.

Art Mix is free for all students, but space is limited. Weekly classes are held on Tuesdays (for junior high) and Thursdays (for high school) from 3:45-5:30.

The Fall 2021 session ran from October 12 through November 11, 2021.

Check back here for information on future sessions. Contact to learn more.
