In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Crystal Bowl Sound Bath session set for Tuesday, January 18, 2022, has been cancelled. The Tarble Arts Center prioritizes the health and safety of its visitors, partners, and staff, and welcomes you to enjoy future programs and exhibitions following necessary health guidelines. The program will continue as scheduled on Wednesday, February 16.
Join us to experience a crystal bowl sound bath led by Tyna Loafman, scheduled to coincide with the cycles of the moon and support stillness, gratitude, and reflection. The Tarble will provide a limited number of meditation cushions and chairs on a first-come, first-served basis. You may bring your own yoga mat or cushion to sit on if you choose. The Tarble maintains a temperature-controlled environment, so you may want to bring a sweater or wrap for warmth. You are invited to arrive between 5–5:15pm to get settled. Doors will be locked and the sound bath will begin promptly at 5:30pm and last for approximately 45 minutes. No prior experience is necessary, and all are welcome.
Tyna Loafman has been interested in holistic health practices sincer her college days majoring in Therapeutic Recreation. Most recently, she has been engaged in the training, knowledge, and practice of the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of Reiki; TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercise), as developed by Dr. David Berceli; and the meditative and healing properties of crystal singing bowls. These practices support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals as they deal with past and present stress and traumas. It has been her greatest pleasure to assist others with balancing mind, body, and spirit.
