To complete the three-year program successfully, students are encouraged to complete 40 credit hours in each of their three years at EIU to meet the 120 credit-hour graduation requirement. By taking additional courses during regular semesters and summer terms, you can accelerate your time to degree by up to one year if you meet all graduation requirements as stated in the Undergraduate Catalog.
Students in the EIU3 program have the same opportunities to participate in internships, undergraduate research and other integrative learning experiences. Students interested in the program should contact the Department of Psychology.
Students with credit from AP or dual credit programs are well-suited for the program, as are highly motivated students who are certain of their major and long-term career goals.
Courses offered online during the summer sessions will allow you the flexibility to work from your desired residence while earning credit toward graduation.
