How do I request technology support?

When seeking technical assistance from EIU Campus Technology Support, you have multiple options.

These options are:

  • Fill out a support request form.
    • The support request form can be fill out through the tech support website. For information about submitting a request please see the following article. Requesting Assistance
    • You can use this form to submit a technology support request online. This form will send an email to Campus Technology Support staff and they will create a ticket and contact you.
  • Send an email to support@eiu.edu.
    • You may send an email explaining the assistance you are needing. Please be as detailed as possible.
  • Log into techsupport.eiu.edu and use one of the templates to file your request.
    • Log into this site by using your EIU login. Find a template that is the best fit for the assistance you are needing.
  • Use Live Chat.
    • Live chat can be accessed at: https://www.eiu.edu/panthertech/index.php
    • Live chat is available:
      Fall and Spring Semester: Monday-Friday : 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
      Summer Semester and Breaks: Monday-Friday : 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
