An undergraduate student has access to their EIU account for one year after taking their last class. This is in accordance with the EIU Network Identity (NetID) Lifecycle Policy.
A graduate student has access to their EIU account for one year after taking their last class. This is in accordance with the EIU Network Identity (NetID) Lifecycle Policy.
If you are working on your thesis, your account may be retained for up to 6 years. Your account will be valid for one year upon completing your thesis.
If an employee resigns or is terminated, their account is disabled at the end of the business of their last day. If they are also a current student, the account will remain enabled though access to other employee resources are removed at the end of the business day of their last working day.
If an employee retires, their account access is retained as long as they continue to use EIU PantherMail. Access to other employee resources are removed at the end of the business day of their last working day.
