EIU Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Science

Cost and Funding

The Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences (CDS) typically staffs about 10 graduate assistantships per year. Graduate assistants in CDS are selected from the applications obtained through CSDCAS, the application portal used for graduate school admission in speech-language pathology. Students must also complete the general graduate assistantship application on the EIU Graduate School website for consideration. Graduate assistantships in CDS are for one academic year, as graduate students are placed in off-campus internships during their second year of study.
