Scholarships  from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers undergraduate programs that prepare students to

  • Study mathematics at the graduate level;
  • Teach middle level and secondary mathematics;
  • Become an actuary or statistician;
  • Work in business or industry;
  • Become a computer programmer or systems analyst.

Recent graduates are employed by a variety of schools across Illinois and in other states as well as Horace Mann, State Farm Insurance, Caterpillar, AE Edwards, and other companies.

Those choosing graduate schools have continued their studies at schools such as University of Iowa, Indiana University, Southern Illinois University, Northwestern University, Colorado State University, Syracuse, Marquette University, and Louisiana State University.
