The ITC Sway provides a mobile-friendly view of the ITC website that looks great on mobile phones. The ITC Chronicles blog and Docs.com Journal are places where many new and innovative learning practices are shared. ITC OneNote digital notebooks provide a dynamic view into the many demos, projects, and workshops we routinely provide at the ITC.
The ITC is one of the premiere teacher education resource centers in the State of Illinois. We have a growing online presence and you will find many resources of value related to teaching and learning via our blogs, podcasts, YouTube Channel, and OneNote Notebooks.
From low-tech to high-tech the ITC is here to help with your educational technology needs. The ITC is a division of the College of Education and Professional Studies and we believe in a "Pedagogy First" approach to implementing technologies and always focus on the learning first and foremost with a Minds-On Always, Hands-on Often teaching philosophy.
While at the ITC students will find spacious work areas for group projects and one of the best selection of bulletin board supplies in the area with over 400 Ellison dies for your use while visiting the ITC. In addition the ITC provides checkout equipment to CEPS faculty for classroom use including, projectors, digital cameras, digital video cameras, student response systems, video conferencing equipment, and five mobile wireless laptop computer carts.
The Instructional Technology Center (ITC) provides frontline technology support for faculty, staff, students, and alumni of the College of Education & Professional Studies as well as the general EIU community.
If you or your students would like assistance or professional development regarding the use of instructional technologies please contact Dr. Grissom in the ITC at 581-3823. A quickstart overview session can usually be given in 20-30 minutes on a variety of instructional technologies. Additional customized educational technology professional development sessions are available by request for CEPS faculty, staff, and students.
