If you are seeking assistance with course selection, portfolio development or any other matters pertaining to program requirements, please consult with the BGS advisors! The B.A. in General Studies has two full-time advisors to help meet your program needs. They are dedicated to ensuring the success of each BGS student, so throughout the process you will have access to your advisor via e-mail, webcam, face-to-face advisement sessions and telephone.

Kim Redfern has been with the program since 2003. She is the office professional who manages Prior Learning Assessment for all B.A. in General Studies students. Kim can be reach at karedfern2@eiu.edu.
