Required Coursework for Major in construction management

The Bachelor of Science in Construction Management will prepare students to meet the challenges of becoming capable superintendents and project managers in the residential, commercial, transportation, and industrial arenas. This program engages students in multiple areas of study including 2-D and 3-D design, Building Information Modeling, Estimating, Project Management, Site Surveying and Planning, Risk Management, Contracts, Construction Planning and Sequencing, and Bid/Construction Document Preparation.

The program provides the flexibility to include elective hours from general education, SoT electives, minors, national certificates, transfer credits, prior learning credits, and/or internships. Students are expected to work with their academic advisors to select the elective hours that meet their career goals.
