#125.1 - Course Charges: Required Professional and Clinical Experiences

Approved: April 27, 2020

Monitor: Vice President for Academic Affairs

Academic programs that require a community-based placement, a professional practice experience, or a clinical experience as a degree requirement may assign course charges to cover travel associated with supervision, limited professional development, site supervisor stipends, and other reasonable direct costs, such as digital recording resources, clinical supplies, simulations, and other limited equipment needs to facilitate off site activities, necessary to support high quality field experiences. The fee may also support professional development or continuing education fees as required by a state licensure agency or professional organization for continue licensure or certification of site supervisors, as well as faculty. Any and all professional development support from course fees will be limited to program costs, such as registration, associated with mandatory professional development.
