As a state entity, Eastern Illinois University is covered by the Department of Central Management Services (CMS). CMS has the statutory responsibility to administer the workers' compensation program for State of Illinois employees.
The Department of Human Resources has been assigned coordinator duties to assure as smooth a process as possible when filing a workers' compensation claim.
