The Student Affilicates of the American Chemical Society at EIU was recognized as one of 69 nationwide commendable chapters by the national office for the 2007-2008 academic year.  This award recognizes the strong activity and membership of this student organization, and their goals of providing educational, career planning, service, and social opportunities for chemistry majors and enthuasists.
