What you need to know about
Academic Advising @ EIU....
Eastern Illinois University's Academic Advising Center is located in Room 2100 of 9th Street Hall. Beginning freshmen, undeclared majors, and students who have not been accepted to professional programs are assigned a full-time academic advisor from the Center. The assigned advisor's purpose is to assist with the development and achievement of students' academic goals.
Although a student is required to meet with his/her advisor each term to plan his/her academic program, it becomes the student's responsibility for identifying and completing the requirements for their degree program.
