Testing & Evaluation supports students with placement testing, accommodated testing, and other academic testing services. All exams are offered in a secure, professional environment designed to help you do your best.

What You Might Use This Office For

Math Placement (ALEKS)

If you need to complete math placement, this office helps administer the ALEKS test. Check your MyEIU checklist to see if placement is required and how to get started.

Testing Accommodations

If you have approved testing accommodations through the Office of Accessibility & Accommodations, you may take your exams at the Testing Accommodations Center.

Here’s how it works:

• Share your accommodation letter with your instructor
• Your instructor can request testing support through Testing & Evaluation
• Exams will be scheduled and proctored in a distraction-reduced environment

For Faculty & Staff

Testing & Evaluation also supports:

• Course evaluations
• Scantron exam scoring
• Speaking Across the Curriculum (SAC) assessments

Testing Accommodations Center

The Testing Accommodations Center accepts faculty requests to proctor tests, quizzes and exams for students with test accommodations.

If a student in your class has talked to you about a testing accommodation and given you a letter from the Office of Accessibility & Accommodations, you may want to ask us to proctor exams and provide testing accommodations. Instructions to submit exams/quizzes to the TAC are available through this online submission form.
