Faculty Forum, 2009-2010
What is Integrative Learning? Why do educators believe it is important? How could it contribute to undergraduate education at EIU? Faculty who attended the recent American Association of Colleges and Universities Conference on Integrative Learning will lead a panel discussion and breakout sessions to discuss how we might use Integrative Learning approaches. A flyer announcing the forum can be found here, and a short bibliography on Integrative Learning can be found here.
Integrative Learning involves not only pedagogy but also student engagement; curriculum design and support; and attention to the entire university environment, including student affairs. We encourage Faculty, Students, Staff, and Administrators to attend. We hope to see you there!
