William C. Hine is Dean of the School of Continuing Education at Eastern Illinois University and a professor of Education in the College of Education and Professional Studies.
The School of Continuing Education is the bridge to the community beyond the campus to provide credit and noncredit programs, degrees, certificates, workshops, seminars and conferences. On an annual basis, the School of Continuing Education provides programs for 10,000 students.
Dean Hine received his doctorate from Indiana University and has served on the Board of Directors for Association of Continuing Higher Education, the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education and the Christian Theological Seminary Board of Trustees.
Dean Hine has presented numerous professional papers at regional and national meetings and associations. Dean Hine’s research interests are in the background areas of adult learning theory and third age learning.
