About Departmental Honors
The Communication Studies Department Honors Program allows exceptional communication studies students to independently explore an area of the discipline through a research or creative project conducted with a faculty mentor of their choosing.
In four independent studies, totaling 12 credits, the honors student works directly with the faculty mentor on this project. This opportunity is open to students with a 3.5 GPA who complete this application form.
