Banner is a suite of administrative software applications developed specifically for higher education institutions by SunGard Education.
Banner INB and Self Service is available 24 hours a day except 6:00 AM -12:00 PM Sundays and other times with prior notification to your EIU email address.
New Java Plugin
For staff using INB (Internet Native Banner) with Windows:
A new Java Plugin needs to be installed on your machine before 04/23/2010. It may be installed anytime prior to that date by following the instructions below. It must be installed by April 23rd, 2010 for INB to continue to function.
For staff using INB (Internet Native Banner) with a Mac:
Apple Computer supplies their own version of Java. Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java for your Mac.
The recommended browsers to use for Internet Native Banner (INB) or Self Serve Banner (SSB) are Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0 or 8.0. For Mac OS X, Safari 1.2.
If you use any other browser, your results may not be as expected.
Wireless & Off-Campus Connection to Banner
For On-Campus Wireless connection and ALL Off Campus connection you must use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access Internet Native Banner (INB). Use this link for more information on VPN to download and use.

Argos: MAPS client reinstalls
