Pre-Select vs. Open Interviews
- "Pre-Select" interviews: Candidates will submit their resumes in advance for consideration of the specific job posting. Employers will view/download the submitted resumes via Panther Recruiting and select candidates for interviews. Candidates are then notified of their selection and, if accepted, will go onto Panther Recruiting and select a specific interview time.
- "Open" interviews: Candidates who meet the qualifications set by the employer will be able to select a specific interview time automatically. Interview times are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Informational Sessions
Employers interviewing on-campus, may wish to schedule a corresponding informational session with students prior to the interviewing date. Many times these informational sessions take place the evening before the interview date to educate the candidates about the company and answer questions in a more informal environment.
Career Services will reserve a room for your visit along with securing necessary equipment, ordering refreshments and assisting in spreading the word about the session.
