Overview

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics: Occupational Outlook Handbook, jobs in preschool education and administration are projected to grow 7% between 2018 and 2028, which is higher than average. The online minor in Early Childhood Program Administration provides a comprehensive view of the administration of early childhood care and education programs, preparing students to work in child care/preschool settings.

Eighteen semester hours are required for the online minor. Completion of the minor leads to Illinois Director’s Credential Level V through Gateway to Opportunity Illinois Credentialing Program.
