Journalism majors should have a strong interest in news, writing and story telling. Backed by a strong foundation in history, law and ethics, students learn to report across a variety of platforms, from print, to the Web, to broadcast, and they are armed with a strong liberal arts foundation that can lead to careers in the law, education and the business world.
From Day One, students take courses in their major and can work at our award-winning, daily student media: TV newscast, newspaper, radio and yearbook.
