The Communication in Organizations option helps students enhance their marketability in today's professional environment through the integration of theory and practice and the development of relational and organizational communication skills. Individuals who are proficient communicators are more valuable in contemporary organizations that are increasingly global, team-based, and feature flatter hierarchical structures.
By completing the Communication in Organizations option students develop the strategies and skills necessary to be successful in the modern workplace. Our coursework highlights organizational communication, interpersonal communication, conflict management, intercultural communication, and workplace relationships.
The Communication in Organizations option is a completely online degree completion option for students. The program can be completed in four semesters, though each student should discuss his or her unique situation with an advisor.
