The Department of Economics invites applications for one
tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin August 2010. A
primary field in Labor Economics is required. Desirable secondary fields include Urban and Regional
Economics, Public Finance, and Economic History. Candidates must have a PhD in economics or ABD with expected
degree completion by August 2010.
Teaching experience is required. Must demonstrate teaching excellence, a
strong research potential, and a commitment to service to the University.
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Labor
Economics, along with Principles of Economics. The closing date for
applications is November 20, 2009, or until the position is filled. To apply,
