Alumni Association Now Accepting Applications for Legacy Scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship is awarded each fall to an EIU freshman who is the child and/or grandchild of an EIU graduate. The application deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. For more information on eligibility and how to apply visit our Scholarships Page.

Distinguished Senior Awards 2012
The EIU Alumni Association is now accepting applications and nominations for the 2012 Distinguished Senior Awards.
The Distinguished Senior Awards recognize those who have demonstrated outstanding character and leadership through academic achievement, campus and community involvement, and/or extracurricular honors or awards.
The deadline to apply is Friday, Mar. 9. Up to 25 recipients will be chosen and recognized during a luncheon held in their honor on Saturday, Apr. 28.

Tickets Now on Sale for Athletic Director's Gala
EIU Athletics will host the 4th installment of the Athletic Director's Gala in Effingham, Ill on Feb. 14. This year's gala will celebrate "The Heart of A Champion" and will feature longtime football head coach Bob Spoo and alumnus Tony Romo '03. Seating is extremely limited.
