Position Announcement: Director, Annual Fund and Commencement
Eastern Illinois University invites applications for the position of Director of Annual Fund and Commencement. Primary responsibilities include leadership of the annual fund effort (direct mail, telephone and electronic solicitations); management of the call center; development of faculty-staff, senior giving and annuitant campaigns; coordination of commencement ceremonies; and providing assistance with select alumni activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred; excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; strong organizational abilities; ability to work evenings and occasional weekends. Previous marketing or annual fund experience is preferred and the most competitive candidates will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse group of alumni, faculty, staff and students.
Review of applications will begin on September 15, with interviews projected to take place in early October. Starting salary is $48,000 with an excellent benefits package.
