Master the basics of grammar and conversation, then move on to advanced classes in Latin American and Spanish literature and culture. Our teaching methods follow the standards of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages to give you both linguistic and cultural proficiency.
Customize your Spanish program! Our flexible major in World Languages and Cultures allows you to combine Spanish classes with work in other departments related to international or diversity studies. Choose coursework from areas such as history, geography, or political science. Or pick up an introductory course in French, German, or Chinese. Many students double major or minor in related fields such as Latin American Studies.
A major in World Languages and Cultures with a concentration in Spanish gives you skills employers want.
