Overview

A public relations minor prepares you to manage communication and relationships with various organizational publics in any industry and sector (including forprofit and nonprofit organizations). In your PR classes, you will learn how to design and implement strategic communication and campaigns to help organizations succeed and make a difference. Our department offers one of only a few dedicated public relations majors in the state, and students enrolled in our minor can choose from a variety of designated public relations classes. If you enjoy communication, media and planning, public relations is the right minor (and maybe even major) for you.
