Overview

The RN to BSN Completion Program at Eastern Illinois University is designed for licensed registered nurses seeking to advance their education and expand their professional opportunities. This flexible, 100% online program builds upon the knowledge and experience nurses already possess while developing skills in leadership, evidence-based practice, health promotion, research, and professional nursing practice.

Students complete coursework focused on current healthcare challenges, population health, nursing leadership, and advanced clinical decision-making. A project-based clinical experience allows students to apply their knowledge to address healthcare needs within their own communities while strengthening critical thinking and professional practice skills.

At EIU, RN-BSN students benefit from an accelerated program format, multiple start dates throughout the year, and dedicated faculty who understand the needs of working nurses.
