About Me: I am a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and local student! While here on campus, I spent my years studying both history and middle and secondary level education. My extracurricular involvement here on campus touched every facet of the college experience! I served as a Student Senator, member of the Residence Hall Association, Editor-in-Chief of the History Department Journal Historia, and many other registered student organizations. I worked for University Housing and Dining as a Resident Assistant living within Lawson Hall as a student employee and found a love for higher education and our campus community here at EIU. Taking a winding path to get here as an admissions counselor, I have had position as both a middle and high school social studies teacher and worked within the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), but all roads lead back to the Castle at Old Main and I am excited to be back on campus as the Admissions Counselor for East-Central Illinois and Indiana and help you in your college journey!

Advice for Students: Become invested into the campus community! There are organizations and people from all walks of life that are here at EIU, wanting to see and help you succeed. From life on-campus, the classroom, the field, or on the quad, you'll always be able to find something that you are passionate about. Take advantage of your time here, make memories and attending and all of our sporting events, join an Intramural team and win eternal glory not he IM Wall of Champions, take in your down time and spending your downtime in the quad, or go on that study abroad trip! Just go look for it, as here at EIU it is all here for you.

Favorite Place on Campus: South Quad! There's no better place to be than the grassy field between our academic and residential buildings. With the fantastic Thomas, Taylor, Andrews, and Lawson Residence Halls being right next to Coleman, Lumpkin, and Klehm Halls, its where life in and out of the classroom combines. You never know when you might see an impromptu game of Quidditch begin on a crisp autumn day, a fundraiser to plunge the University President into a dunk tank in the dead of winter, or even a full carnival on move in weekend. You never know what you will find when you step foot on South Quad!
