INTRODUCTION

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Odeh is a distinguished individual with over 15 years of experience in higher education and a strong dedication to the fields of technology, management, and applied engineering. He currently serves as the Chairperson for the School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University, where he works tirelessly to provide students with unique opportunities to succeed in their chosen fields. Dr. Al-Odeh's hard work and dedication have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious "2019 Strengthening Bonds to Industry Award" from the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). As a nationally recognized professor, Dr. Al-Odeh has been included in the "Professors to Know in Engineering Management Programs" list. As Chairperson, Dr. Al-Odeh works alongside faculty, staff, alumni, and industry partners to provide School of Technology students with unique opportunities to enable them to thrive in their fields. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and collaborates with local industries to help them achieve their goals and improve their operations. Dr. Al-Odeh is also a published author, having written "Economics and Cost Analysis for Operations and Project Managers," a book designed to assist professionals and students in financial analyses. Dr. Al-Odeh and his family are proud residents of the Charleston area and are eager to partner with community organizations to help add value to the quality of life in our community.
