April C. Lee
INTRODUCTION
April C. Lee is the assistant choral director and conducts the University Mixed Chorus. She has taught music privately and at several schools leading the choirs, teaching classroom music, and directing musicals. She has been an adjudicator for IMEA, IESA, and IHSA choral festivals and contests. She earned her MM in conducting under the tutelage of Dr. Richard Rossi here at Eastern Illinois University. During her graduate studies she also sang as a soloist at EIU’s 2009 production of Handel’s Messiah and for Mozart’s Laudate Dominum in the 2009 Journey Through Time concert. Her graduate work was featured within the College of Arts and Humanities during Graduate Exposition Week 2010.
