Hello, I am Kalyn Hayslett a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in entrepreneurship. My dream job is to become editor-in-chief of my own online women's fashion magazine. Being a part of the journalism department helped me improve my reporting, editing and interviewing skills. I did not have any reporting experience prior to attending Eastern and now I am the editor-in-chief of The Daily Eastern News. As EIC I am responsible for managing a staff of 15-plus students, I oversee the content, determine the layout of our pages and help organize special editions.
