INTRODUCTION
Beth was a news and features editor for the Journal Gazette/Times-Courier in Mattoon/Charleston for 22 years. She now is in charge of publicity and public relations for Booth Library at EIU. She has been an ajunct instructor of journalism at EIU since 2004, and is a media analyst and researcher for Ad Fontes Media, creator of the Media Bias Chart.

Beth earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a master's degree in English from EIU.
