I am a Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate (2001-2005) from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab. I am fromthe North Indian state of Punjab and have lived and worked in Delhi for 9 years, first as a Telecom Engineer and then as a Math trainer for competitive exams, before moving to Charleston, Illinois, USA in January 2015. I am graduate student in Mathematics here in EIU. I am interested and passionate about math, social and political sciences, economics, and life!
Regarding Charleston and the local community, people here very receptive, understanding and respectful of differences. The weather we witnessed recently here is really awesome with a lot of snow. You will love it over here. The Office of International Students and Scholars has been great support from day 1 and the international community here is quite active and supportive.
