International Student Ambassador - IndiaINTRODUCTION
I am Vijay Bhakser Reddy Gatpa originally from India.
The main reason behind choosing United States for my further studies is not to just get a graduate degree and learn Technology but to expose myself to the different ways of the world. I believe that exposure is an unstoppable thing where you have something to learn throughout your life. I am very lucky to attend graduate course at EIU which definitely help me make every effort for the growth and become a successful global citizen.
I came to United States in 2014 Spring to New York and transferred to EIU from there. I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant at Biology department. I am very proud to be a graduate student at EIU in Technology department and I admire the university management to conduct so many campus activities for which I actively participate and volunteer to explore myself and enjoy being a part of it where different cultured people are involved.
Coming to my hobbies playing cricket, badminton, volunteering for activities, strong zeal towards learning new technologies to achieve my career objectives.
I am glad to say that I got invitations from EIU families for the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year parties and felt so happy in the family environment. I love moving around with people and will try to assist freshmens to the Charleston so they don't feel away from home.
