I am Deepthi Mansabdar from India. My aim was to do my masters in a reputed university. EIU has made my dream come true. I will be pursuing my master of science in Technology from the School of Technology this December.

Eastern Illinois University is a public university, located in Charleston. It was established in the year 1895. Eastern Illinois University gradually expanded into a comprehensive university with a broad curriculum, including baccalaureate and as well as masters degree in education, business, arts, science and humanities.  Eastern Illinois University offers over 150 student organizations.

I am from the Technology department, which provides a combination of both technology and Management courses. The school of Technology at EIU provides a certification program in computer technology and quality systems. Employment opportunities and scholarship opportunities are also plenty at EIU.

 

If you ask me “Why EIU?,” it is because EIU has helped me experience new culture and it is the destination I've dreamed of!
