EIU Reads - Fall 2021

We are committed to continue to learn and evolve and grow as humans and are continuing our conversations about race, racism, systematic racism and how it impacts everything and everyone. Our next book to read will be “The New Jim Crow” by Michelle Alexander.

The conversations will take place via Zoom and will be facilitated by members of the university faculty, staff and administration through the months of September and October 2021. For those who participate we will meet once a week for 4 weeks for a 60 minute conversation.

Space is limited to 20 people a session, so don’t delay in registering!

Below are the options:

Mondays from 6-7pm
September 20, 27, and October 4

Tuesdays from 9am-10am
September 21, 28 October 5, and 12

Wednesdays from 12pm-1pm
September 22, 29, October 6, and 13
