Fall 2019 Information

Students can access their Fall 2019 textbook pick up information on PAWS

Note: If a student is taking both on-campus courses and online or off-campus courses, he/she will need to pick up all textbooks at Textbook Rental Service.  Textbooks are only mailed, via UPS, to students taking all of their courses online and/or off-campus, who do not live locally in Coles County, who do not work on-campus, and have verified their street address with Textbook Rental Service,

**Remember to protect your textbooks!  We recommend a waterproof book bag/backpack or another type of protective method for transporting your textbooks to and from our facility.  Keep them away from food, drink, and all other potentially damaging situations, including protecting your textbooks from all weather-related conditions.  Students will be required to pay full list price, plus tax, for any textbooks that have been lost, written in, highlighted or underlined, have any visible signs of liquid damage of any type, have been subjected to unusual wear, or have RFID tags that have been removed or damaged in any way, plus any associated late fines.

Drop/Withdrawal Procedures

If you drop or withdraw from an on-campus course, you must return or postmark all associated textbooks within two business days of dropping/withdrawing the course to avoid charges.  If you drop or withdraw from an online or off-campus course, you must return or postmark all associated textbooks within five business days of dropping/withdrawing the course to avoid charges. For dropped/withdrawn courses, a non-refundable $20 per book processing fee will be charged for the associated textbooks not returned within the designated time frame.  In addition, all textbooks not needed should be returned immediately.

Textbooks can be returned inside our facility during regular business hours or, for your convenience after business hours, please utilize our exterior book drop located under the awning at the Northeast corner of our facility.

Check-Out/Check-In Procedures

Make sure to check out our check-out/check-in procedures page to see the process for picking-up/returning your Fall 2019 textbooks.  In order to expedite the textbook distribution/return process, we strongly encourage students to bring their Panther Card ID and a copy of their textbook pick up information/current issued textbook listing from PAWS.
