Student-Nominated Distinguished Faculty Award 2026

Student-Nominated Distinguished Faculty Award 2026

Here’s your chance to recognize and honor outstanding EIU professors and instructors who have made a positive, inspiring, and supportive impact on students—both inside and outside the classroom.

Nominations are open to any full-time EIU faculty member, including both tenure-track and non-tenure-track instructors, who demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and inclusion. A panel of EIU students will review the nominations and select up to five faculty members to be honored with a commemorative plaque or award.

Submissions are due by March 9 at 11:59 PM.

For questions, please contact Student Vice President for Academic Affairs, Emilee Boyd, at erboyd2@eiu.edu.
